The father who was the first graduate in his family rose to the position of a high ranking civil servant during the British Raj. Three of them were honoured with the highest civilian state honour of Bangladesh - the Independence Award which is something unique. The story of the parents and brothers and sisters has been portrayed honestly by the author who herself is a leading actor in Bangladesh theatre.
