জন্ম তার সাতক্ষীরার শ্যামনগরে। শ্যামনগরে যার জন্ম তাকে তাে অঙ্গে-ভঙ্গে রাধাই হতে হয়। শ্যামনগরের রাধার পােশাকি নাম সাকিরা পারভীন সুমা। শেখ মাসুম আলী আর মাসুদা বেগমের দ্বিতীয় কন্যা সাকিরা বসবাস করেন ঢাকার বাসাবােতে আর কবিতার কল্পলােকে। মননে-বলনে কবি হলেও তার জীবন গাথা আছে কথাকার মুম রহমানের সাথে। হুটহাট ডান-বাম চলে যাওয়া, যখন যেদিক তার নেশা আর নেশাক্রান্ত সময় পার হয় বন্ধু সাবেরা কিংবা শুসমিনকে পেলে । তিন তরুণী তখন গানেকবিতায় আর ইয়ার্কিতে মত্ত করেন সারা পাড়া। ঐদিকে ঘড়ির সময় ধরে ঠিকই চলে যান শিষ্য ও শিশুদের কাছে।
