Clive Staples Lewis (C. S. Lewis) (1898 – 1963) was a renowned British writer, literary scholar, and Christian apologist. He is best known as the author of The Chronicles of Narnia, a classic series of seven fantasy novels that has captivated readers of all ages. Born in Belfast, Ireland, Lewis studied at Oxford University, where he later became a fellow and tutor in English literature.
